Il est ensuite aisé de :&lt;br /&gt;- Comparer les Cartes Optiques de souches entre elles et ainsi identifier les insertions, délétions et translocations pour monter des PCRs identifiantes, ou pour comprendre les différences phénotypiques, par exemple les différences de virulence entre souches.&lt;br /&gt;- Identifier les organismes inconnus dans un mix de culture ou un produit vivant.&lt;br /&gt;-Identifier les gènes présents dans une souche en comparaison avec une souche de référence séquencée. Le logiciel Mapviewer permet de constituer in silico la Carte Optique d’une souche séquencée et de comparer ainsi sa souche à celle-ci pour en identifier les parties identiques.&lt;br /&gt;- Faire ou vérifier le montage d’un séquençage à partir des contigs, y compris sur des séquençages eucaryotes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#6633ff;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;PHYLOGENE&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt; and &lt;span style="color:#333399;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;OpG&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;EN&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt; work together to bring you the Optical Map.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Optical Map generates a restriction map at the whole microorganism genome level. It is displayed as a bar code. Then it is easy to:&lt;br /&gt;-Compare the Optical Maps of strains and so identify insertions, deletions, and translocations in order to perfect identifying PCRs, or to understand phenotypic differences, for example virulence differences between strains&lt;br /&gt;-Identify the unknown organisms in a culture mix or a living product,&lt;br /&gt;-Identify genes. As your Optical Map can be compared to publicly available sequenced reference strains with the dedicated MapViewer software, it allows you to identify unknown genes in your strains.&lt;br /&gt;-Finish or verify genome sequencing.
